Russell Needham founded the Needham history in funeral services when he opened a funeral hall in Blenheim in 1928. He enjoyed music, played euphonium and violin, and was involved with the Shriners Band. He retired in 1962 and spent the balance of his days in Ft, Lauderdale, Florida. He passed away in 1985 at the age of 88.
