Performance Requirements
- Competitor Age is as of January 1st, 2026.
- Competitors must perform one (1) selection from any of the following genres: pop, pop/folk, R & B, soul, rock, alternative, indie, jazz or country.
- Provide all necessary details of your selections, including accurate timing. "To Be Decided" in any field will not be accepted.
The only exception to this is the field labelled "Movement/Musical". If your piece does not have any movements please put "none".
Provincial Qualifications
- Up to three (3) competitors from each Age Category will be recommended for the Provincial competition (OMFA). Competitors must receive a minimum mark of 85 in order to receive a recommendation.
- Beginner & Primary (Ages 6-10): OMFA Provincial Competition is held virtually.
- Elementary & Up (Ages 11 +): OMFA Provincial Competition is held live in Kitchener/Waterloo in June (8-13), 2026.
Only students who receive a recommendation may compete at OMFA Provincials.
