Our Mission

The Kiwanis Music Festival of London Inc., the organizing body of The Kiwanis Music Festival of London and surrounding area, has a stated mission to encourage, nurture and support performances and educational activities within the London area, where musicians can enhance their interpretative and musical styles as a means of strengthening character development and celebrating the enjoyment of the arts.

The Kiwanis Music Festival of London is one of the largest and most successful festivals of its kind in North America , involving thousands of children and adults of all ages. Scores of volunteers graciously dedicate their time and efforts each year to its ongoing viability. As the Festival continues to grow, the need for additional volunteers is persistent.

What are the Jobs?

Adjudicator's Secretary (posting competition classes, preparing certificates, etc.)

Ticket Sales/Collection (front entrance duties)

Transportation of Adjudicators (driving your own personal vehicle)

When? Where?

Competitions are held in the morning, afternoon and evening.

There are numerous sites throughout London , including churches, schools and businesses.

Time Commitments?

The time commitment runs about 3 hours per shift depending upon the activity. Most morning sessions start at 9:00 a.m., afternoon sessions at 1:30 p.m. and evening sessions at 7:00 p.m. Festival at a Glance is a chart of an overview of times and locations. It will be updated when scheduling is complete for Festival 2020.

Many of you have participated in the Festival, or have children, relatives, friends or neighbours who have benefited from the experience. For those who participate in the Festival, the memories are rich and enduring.
