Martin Boundy, prior to retiring in 1978 as Music Coordinator of Fanshawe College, enjoyed an outstanding career as player and conductor both in Canada and internationally. At the age of 31, Mr. Boundy was appointed Music Director of the RCAF (1942).

Upon returning to Canada he was made Supervisor of Music in London , and during those years conducted the London Tech Concert Band, and the Police Boy's Band - guiding them both to world-class standard.

Truly an all-round musician, Mr. Boundy was organist for many years at Calvary United Church , as well as conductor (1949-1969) of the London Civic Orchestra.
