Canadian harpist and composer, Sharlene Wallace, is an award-winning musician creating, performing, recording and teaching Classical, folk and contemporary genres on both pedal and lever harps. Sharlene has given concerts and workshops across Canada, the United States and Europe. Her nine CDs express journeys of rhythm, spaciousness, the Canadian landscape, Celtic, Classical, South American and original music.


Sharlene’s most recent albums are for lever harp and electronics. Lilac Embers explores improvised reimaginings of Sharlene’s compositions recorded on acoustic and electric lever harps with electronics by Jean Martin. Trees.Listen, is a recording-performance-environmental project co-composed with Frank Horvat for Celtic harp and electronics. As an educator, Sharlene has taught lever and pedal harp workshops across North America, through four universities and privately for four decades.
